To prevent water leakage in a fountain pool, it's actually the same as decorating a bathroom at home. The key is to do a good job of waterproofing!!!

1.) The grassroots should be leveled

The bottom and walls of the pool need to be smoothed first, without cracks or bulges, otherwise once the waterproof layer is laid, the bottom will be hollow and will eventually crack and leak.

2.) Waterproof layer saves materials
Nowadays, waterproof coatings or waterproof rolls are generally used, which are coated like "painting", especially at corners and joints, with two more coats. Don't worry about the material.

3.) Pipe openings and corners should be treated with emphasis

The nozzle and drainage outlet are the most prone to leakage, so they need to be double insured with sealant and waterproof coating. Don't try to save time and mess with them casually.

4.) The protective layer must not be less
After the waterproof layer dries, quickly lay a layer of cement or tile for protection, otherwise it will crack even after being exposed to the sun and soaked in water for a long time.

Finally, we must test the water!

Fill the pool with water and soak it for two days until the water level does not drop before it is considered qualified. Regularly check and repair small cracks as soon as possible. Don't wait until the leakage becomes larger before repairing, as it will be difficult!
